Causes

There are many causes of neck pain, and many of them are musculoskeletal in nature. These include:

  • Thoracic outlet syndrome

  • Degenerative changes such as osteoarthritis

Treatment

Chiropractic care offers a safe and effective approach for the treatment and management of many of the musculoskeletal conditions which can cause neck pain. There are a variety of techniques that a chiropractor can use, including mobilisations and adjustments to the cervical spine as well as targeted soft tissue therapies to alleviate muscle tension and stiffness.

In addition to hands-on treatment, the chiropractor can provide you with valuable guidance on posture and ergonomics, particularly in the context of modern lifestyle factors such as prolonged sitting and computer use. By providing you with tailored advice and exercises, we aim to not only relieve your current neck pain but also prevent future episodes of discomfort.
